First post in a while!
I was reading a book written by Commissioner Raymond Finder entitled "Going further for God". Poor Commissioner was bombarded by people wishing to have their book signed by him, and I was one of them. Something very nice and uplifting he wrote in there as a comment was, "You are a good man, Live well for God".
I continually say it, and I keep by my word, but isn't it amazing how God can speak to us. I was reading a passage of scripture and it said, "Who preachers are is the main thing, not what they say. A genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or your pocketbook. These diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned." Matthew 7:16.
I own an Online Small Community and I today was impacted by one of the 'volunteers' words. Whilst broadcasting on my radio, he said "Everyone in the room, thank Andrew for all his hard work, as if it was not for him, you would not be tuned in to this great station". This is something I feel strong about. Community impact as opposed to community statistics. You can have a website/community/church with 9-10 people attending from youth, but until you impact those people who are attending but not your programs, and show them a different life, one that they will love and want to be apart of (i.e. the Christian faith) then you will loose them.
These days I personally feel people (Youth in particular) put trust in alot of things and unless they receive what they are after, the wont return. With my site I aim to impact youth, and then show them the good life, one which they should live, and how I do it, is by putting real life before job. My volunteer staff whom work on my website, are reassured that real-life comes before the job they do on my site, I also provide a form of support by providing amazing impacting words to those whom are going through tough times.
To finish this blog post (first one in around 3-4 months), I wish to end saying, Whatever you do, Whatever it be, do it for the love of God, and show the world the gospel of the good life!
God Bless,
Andrew
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
